Solo in the key of C - backing track lesson 2.
This is the second lesson in the C Major soloing series. The diagram below shows the second shape of the scale. There are five different main shapes for a certain scale.

As before, the educational approach is to divide lessons based on the five different scale shapes on the C Major.
Instructions
The C Major scale can be used over the whole jam track since its notes match the chords in the track, all notes belong to the key of C. The shape presented above is called the second shape of the Major scale and is, in the case of C Major, played in 10th position. If you're are familiar with the Dorian scale, notice that this shape is identical with the D Dorian in 10th position.
As always, try to use all four fingers on the left hand.
