The third degree is written as B#, which is the same as C. The fourth degree is written as C##, which is the same as D. The sixth degree is written as E#, which is the same as F. The seventh degree is written as F##, which is the same as G. In scale notation, the same note letter should not be included twice, if it can be avoided.
The G sharp Lydian consists of seven notes. It can be described in steps as a formula which is written as whole, whole, whole, half, whole, whole, half from the first note to first note in the next octave.
G# Lydian is the fourth mode of D# Major scale, they contain the same notes, but starts on different notes. Lydian deviates with only one note, the 4th, compared to the Major.
