The second degree is written as Bbb, which is the same as A. The third degree is written as Cb, which is the same as B. The sixth degree is written as Fb, which is the same as E. In scale notation, the same note letter should not be included twice, if it can be avoided.
The A flat Phrygian consists of seven notes. It can be described in steps as a formula which is written as half, whole, whole, whole, half, whole, whole from the first note to first note in the next octave.
Ab Phrygian is the third mode of E Major scale, they contain the same notes, but starts on different notes.
Phrygian has a Minor scale quality and the Ab Phrygian is identical with the Ab Minor apart from the second note.
