The scale consists of five notes. It can be described in steps as a formula which is written as whole and a half step, whole step, whole step, whole and a half, whole step from the first note to first note in the next octave.
The D Pentatonic Major is relative to B Pentatonic Minor. Both scales include the same notes but has different root notes.
