The second degree is written as Ebb, which is the same as D. The third degree is written as Fb, which is the same as E. The fifth degree is written as Abb, which is the same as G. The sixth degree is written as Bbb, which is the same as A. The seventh degree is written as Cb, which is the same as B. In scale notation, the same note letter should not be included twice, if it can be avoided.
The D flat Locrian consists of seven notes. It can be described in steps as a formula which is written as half, whole, whole, half, whole, whole, whole from the first note to first note in the next octave.
Db Locrian is the seventh mode of D Major scale, they contain the same notes, but starts on different notes.
