The fourth degree is written as E#, which is the same as F. In scale notation, the same note letter should not be included twice, if it can be avoided.
The B Lydian consists of seven notes. It can be described in steps as a formula which is written as whole, whole, whole, half, whole, whole, half from the first note to first note in the next octave.
B Lydian is the fourth mode of F# Major scale, they contain the same notes, but starts on different notes. Lydian deviates with only one note, the 4th, compared to the Major.
